Microsoft has announced the first wave of titles joining Xbox Game Pass for July 2026. The lineup is headlined by Gears of War: Reloaded, an enhanced remaster of the franchise’s debut title, alongside Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2. These additions arrive as Microsoft continues its broader organizational reset, which includes studio closures and workforce reductions.

#1 Gears of War: Reloaded (July 9)

The standout addition is Gears of War: Reloaded, arriving on July 9, 2026. This remaster brings the iconic 2006 third-person shooter into the modern era with 4K resolution support and up to 120 fps performance. It bundles all original post-launch content, including bonus campaign acts, multiplayer maps, and cosmetics.

The title is available on Cloud, Xbox Series X|S, Handheld devices, and PC for Premium, Ultimate, and PC Game Pass subscribers. It serves as a definitive package for new players to catch up before the upcoming prequel, Gears of War: E-Day, scheduled for October 6, 2026.
