Microsoft has shipped two new Windows 11 Insider builds to the Experimental channel, rolling out a batch of improvements to Cloud rebuild, the Magnifier accessibility tool, and Hyper-V virtualization. If you’re running these builds on a dev machine, there’s something new to try in each of those areas.
The two builds are 26340.9502 (on the 24H2 branch) and 28120.3032 (on the 26H1 branch, codename Blackcomb Preview). Both are Experimental builds, the most advanced Insider channel, which sit above the Dev Channel and are meant for testers who want the latest features a bit earlier. According to the Windows Insider Blog, the update brings targeted improvements across several features rather than a wholesale redesign.
Here’s what changed in each of the three areas, and what it means for you.
#1 Cloud rebuild improvements
Cloud rebuild is the feature that lets you reset your PC and restore your apps, settings, and files without needing a recovery image or external drive.
